Lee's Thanksgiving trip to Kansas

Lee exercised his newly obtained instrument rating when he took a Thanksgiving trip to Independence KS.  On the way up, he stopped at Sulphur Springs (KSLR) and walked across the street to the Red Barn Cafe. Another good place to go for that weekend hamburger.  On the way back, they stopped at Cox field in Paris, TX (KPRX) and used the courtesy car for a Bruams ice cream run. 

On the trip he got what a lot of instrument pilots long for, several hours of actual. The above picture was after shooting the approach at TME.
